I'm concerned about free speech.

I don't know if you've heard this, but I just heard last night that a Pentecostal pastor in Sweden was arrested and sentenced to jail time for speaking out against homosexuality in a sermon (here, here, and here - but good luck finding it in the mainstream media). The most telling phrase from the prosecutor: "One may have whatever religion one wishes, but [the sermon] is an attack on all homosexuals. Collecting Bible [verses] on this topic as he does makes this hate speech." [emphasis mine]

This from what many Americans consider a "socially progressive" nation. Like Canada.

Following the theme of End Times-spotting, I'm pretty sure pedophilia is the next acceptable trend in society, sexually-speaking. I'm not sure if beastiality will tie with it, or if it'll come after...I would have suspected before, but this article regarding a media blackout on another homosexual pedophilia incident gives me pause.

I think this is also related. I was listening to Dennis Prager on the radio today on my way back from getting my root canal (I'm really regretting not having much of anything to eat this morning; my lips and tongue are still too numb to eat, and it's now past noon), and he posed the following question:

Which would you feel safer having on your car: a Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker, or a Bush/Cheney bumper sticker? Would you feel safer having a Kerry/Edwards sticker if you were in Orange County, or would you feel safer having a Bush/Cheney sticker if you were in Berkeley?

Maybe I'll wear a Bush/Cheney sticker on my backpack at school next week and see what happens?

Naw. If I'm going to be reviled, I'd prefer to be reviled for pushing Jesus.
