Fair warning - I'm angry about the world again.

So...unwilling to examine the claims that the Swift Boat Vets made regarding Kerry, the Media has decided instead to dredge up their tired old claims about Bush being AWOL from the National Guard. Now they have documentation...which are looking to be Microsoft Word forgeries, after all. Right in line with this, there are more anti-Bush commercials receiving free air time from "60 Minutes," this time from a 527 group called "Texans for Truth" - funded by the MoveOn.org/George Soros crowd, by the way.

Still any doubts as to whom the Media is rooting for this election? Anyone want to hazard a bet that Kerry will denounce these smear campaigns, like he begged President Bush to condemn the Swift Boat Vets?

Well, I guess when Kerry dodges talking to any reporters for over a month, you've got to make up something to fill the dead air...may as well recycle. It's not like there's anything else going on in the world...like horrific stabbings, rapes, and shootings against school children being committed by Islamic terrorists, or genocidal purges being carried out in Islamic nations, or the unjust persecution of Christians being carried out by Muslims in Islamic nations, or the upcoming anniversary of the murder of 3000 innocent people on American soil by Islamic terrorists. Well, I guess investigation of any of these things might possibly lend a favorable view to things the President has said and done, or might make Islam look less like the "Religion of Peace" and more like the "Religion of Blowing Up Children, Enslaving Women, and Driving the Jews Into the Sea." We wouldn't want that.

You know, it's entirely possible that what I've been told over and over again is true - that Islam doesn't really advocate what the terrorists are doing, that they're taking Quranic verses out of context, using whatever proof-texting they can to justify their acts of barbarism - but I have been increasingly reading that this is not the case, that people like Osama bin Laden are actually doing precisely what the Quran has directed, and the people we refer to as "moderate Muslims" are actually the Islamic equivalent of people in America who say that they're Christians, but don't believe the Bible to be infallible or even correctly translated (*cough*Bill Clinton*cough*), believe that Christianity is perfectly compatible with practicing homosexuality, and believe that fundamentalist Christians - people who believe that Jesus is the only means to salvation - are no better than the terrorists (*cough*Al Gore*cough*).

Feeling any ambivalence about the Islamic world? Wondering if maybe the Palestinians have a just cause? Watch this slide show about children in the Middle East, and if you get to the end without feeling a cold, sickening void in your stomach, see if you can find the American or Israeli equivalent.

Oh, and while I'm on the topic of child abuse, Nicole Kidman is starring in a new movie called "Birth," in which she becomes convinced that her dead husband has been reincarnated in a 10 year-old boy. Reportedly, there's a scene in which they kiss on the lips, and another in which she enjoys a nude bath with him. But the director has been quoted as saying that neither actor was actually nude during the filming.

Well, that's good to know. As long as Nicole was just pretending to be nude with a prepubescent boy she thinks is her lover, well, how can I take issue with it?

Homosexuality is a fine and dandy lifestyle; heck, on television, it's preferable. Next stop - pedophilia!

Jesus said to love your enemies, and to pray for those who persecute you. It's days like these that show me exactly how far short of the glory of God I fall. And that I'm not alone.
