Call Me "Señor Calienté"

Posted by Devin Parker

I'm going to post a little about my trip to California for Christmas (which was wonderful, except for getting sick). I also plan to post about my favorite fantasy and science fiction books, which is something that Kristen suggested (and a good suggestion it was). Tonight, however, I'm just going to post the results of some silly online tests I took, mainly because I'm quite pleased about the results.

This is from one of the tests that my wife took and posted on her blog:

The Classic Lover
50% partner focus, 42% aggressiveness, 30% adventurousness
Based on the results of this test, it is highly likely that:

You prefer your romance and love to be traditional rather than daring
or out-of-the-ordinary, you would rather be pursued than do the
pursuing and, when it comes to physical love, you concentrate more on
enjoying the experience rather than worrying about your performance.

This places you in the Lover Style of: The Classic Lover.

The Classic Lover is a wonderful Lover Style, and is the
closest it comes to the classic images of the princess in the tower, or
the romantic and chivalrous knight, or the hero/heroine from a Disney
film. The Classic Lover is a treasure to find, though it can be
difficult to do so because they sometimes tend to be shy and/or
difficult to successfully court.

In terms of physical love, the Classic Lover again can be shy,
and often needs more in terms of emotional security to feel comfortable
than some of the other Types. Given the right setting, and the right
lover, the Classic Lover can be a delight in bed.

Best Compatibility can probably be found with: The Romantic Lover (most of all) or the Devoted Lover, or the Liberated Lover.

Congratulations!

This is another one I found on the same website; a similar test:

FACT:
You embody the German principle of Konstantzusammenschaft, which is best described in English (without using the obscure English word "sammenschaft") as "eternal togethermanship".
The Loverboy
Random Gentle Love Master (RGLMm)

Well-liked. Well-established. You are The Loverboy. Loverboys thrive in committed, steady relationships--as opposed to, say, Playboys, who want sex without too much attachment.

You've had many relationships and nearly all of them have been successful. You're a nice guy, you know the ropes, and even if you can be a little hasty with decisions, most girls think of you as a total catch. Your hastiness comes off as spontaneity most of the time anyhow, making you especially popular in your circle of friends, too.

Your exact opposite:
The Billy Goat

Deliberate Brutal Sex Dreamer
You know not to make the typical Loverboy mistake of choosing someone who appreciates your good humor and popularity, but who offers nothing in return. You belong with someone outgoing, independent, and creative. Otherwise, you'll get bored. And then instead of surprising her with flowers or a practical joke, you'll surprise her by leaving.

ALWAYS AVOID: The Nymph

CONSIDER: The Window Shopper, The Peach

My profile name: mysterycyclist

Again, I'm pretty pleased with the results. However, they don't say much about the mistakes I've made (and I've made a few), and my ravenous forbidden desires...but then, both of those are generally male traits, so perhaps they were already accounted for.

I do find that second illustration kind of creepy, though.
